A poor start to dry (well at least fairly dry) January... but it was New Years Day ... or Xmas day part deux as we tend to call it. The speedy is also my cooking timer :0)

To be honest I have not got a clue, her ladyship just served this up and refused to say what was in it, the nose is weird as is the colour but she hasn't been talking about insurance policies lately so hopefully I am going to be ok !



Update, turns out it was Gin with Pink Grapefruit Tonic Water.
Just let's say an acquired taste 😉

At £13 a bottle here in the UK this Aldi whisky is a decent scotch. I quite like it with a splash of ginger wine too. A warming winter drink.
