Indeed. A fine choice. A waiter at a lovely restaurant in Oudinaarde turned me on to Tripel Karmeliet. Along with Delerium Tremens, it’s my Belgian go-to.

And that’s my favorite Japanese whiskey, even more than Yamazaki 18. That’s one of the bottles I make sure to have one in stock.

Single source rum. It’s pretty awesome. More affordable then the amazing single barrel stuff these guys put out.

Having a beer, and remembering my friend and former co-worker Neil, who passed away yesterday...



He was a great engineer, a talented woodworker (he made the presentation boxes that I used with my watch line pictured above), and good friend of mine for 30+ years. He will be missed. 🙁
