One thing for sure is... Next year, we are all going to celebrate Thanksgiving at your place! Don't worry for the food, it won't be necessary

LOL--there's always food. Even the turkey gets injections of Burgundy before going into the oven--I learned this about 40 years ago, not sure if it really helps keep the breast meat from drying out too much, but it gives me an excuse to open a bottle at 10am and start the day off the right way.

Cheers!

I have always used butter under the skin and much basting but your approach is definitely the new benchmark.
Cheers.

Nice... On the proper glass too 馃榾 ... Saint Bernardus is really good, though I'm not too much into dark beers myself

An interesting small production cinsault (only 2181 bottles) from 40+-year-old bush vines in Swartland, where South Africa's most interesting wines are now made.

Has anyone here try the scotch brand name Lagavulin with smoke flavor, it is quite good
Great distillery on the north side of Islay. If you like them try Ardbeg.

A wee dram. Barley from Islay. Surprisingly peaty, almost like a Laphroaig but smooth. (Smooth is not a prerequisite though.) Made here in Portland. What's more, a surprise gift dropped off at the house yesterday for a previous favour.

Slainte!

A鈥橞unadh - this one remained out of reach for quite sometime, staying missing in action from the shelves of all my local retailers and, I鈥檓 glad to have found a bottle! It tastes incredible better than the last time 馃榾 one word describes this one, potent!

Cheers!
