A Bishops finger in the UK September Sunshine. One of the UK’s oldest bottled beers which by charter can only be brewed by the head brewer on a Friday using 100% natural ingredients and the brewery’s own artesian mineral water…. heavenly.
Cracked this open last night for a special occasion. Hand-carried it all the way back to South Africa from California back when we could still travel. Opulent fruit, well-integrated tannins, and long, dry finish. Similar to some SA cabs, but uniquely Californian. Plenty of aging potential -- at least 20 years if not longer.
Opened this tonight. 1st edition. Absolutely exquisite. More smoke on it than you’d think. Transitions to melons... then to red fruits. Delicious. Been holding onto it for years. Good group of people to have it with.
Gives you double vision... It has the added bonus of making you believe that your watch collection is twice the size
Sat night, kids are in bed, wife is out on a girls night out, so I’m at home, opened this and about to settle down, switch off my brain and watch the John Wick movies back-back....
