that stuff is killer at the price point!

I’m a big fan of Weller’s. Unfortunately the word is getting out and it’s very difficult to find or if you do luck on a bottle the liquor store has jacked it up to $130 or so (at least in many major cities). A local liquor store got a barrel pick last year (see the gold sticker on the side) and I bought 15 bottles at once - the single barrel is amazing! For me, can’t beat it if you are able to find it under $50.

@Foo2rama @dsacks30 big fan of Antique107 here too. My local liquor store owner informed me the Antique is to become allocated and a 25-30 dollar manuf wholesale price increase as well. He’s a straight forward guy, have no doubt about what he said.

107 has been changing names but keeps 107 in the name, but it’s msrp is still sub 50 if not 30 a bottle for a nice wheated over proofed whisky. I’ve heard some shops are marking it up as it is constrained production. My shop limits one per buyer.

I’ve heard rumors that Weller’s is being moved into the BTAC category with an accompanying price increase. Trying to find a Weller’s Full Proof in the wild, and haven’t been successful yet!

Holy sh-t this is good... thought it was the standard stuff, when I opened it I saw it was a completely different bottle and 50% abv, turns out it’s utterly fantastic.

Good!
It is superb!, tried that same time as I picked up some of this limited release at Espace Chimay on a work trip (mostly hunting for wine for work in March this year ... it was also superb)

Lots of dross and decent stuff and a couple of absolute zingers... working on 2 seperate old vine Barossa wines as we speak ... hoping to have them out by November ... plus one stunning Clare Shiraz Cab blend ... which wont be ready for about another 6 months...
