My “Old man’s martini,” which I always dedicate to a now passed mentor: Gin (tonight: Hendricks), ice, and Olives in a “Don Draper style” glass.

It’s been a hell of a week in a positive way. I deserve a couple of these tonight.

Day seven and stocks are low......I think it might be a G&T Sunday!...... When I was a kid, I used to pray every night for a new bike. Then I realised, the Lord doesn't work that way. So I just stole one and asked him to forgive me … I got it!

drove couple of hours to visit/spend the weekend w/some friends, took the Amrut bottle to share w/my buddy, he reciprocated by breaking the seal on a craft rum from the Dominican Republic..quite nice weekend it was ..

It's the democratic standard when it comes to Scotch. It does the job. Doesn't disappoint. But I was flummoxed when they changed the bottle design about 10 years back.....

(I'm way behind here and need to start pulling some corks....)

LOL thats one way to get them fresh outside of the UK. I can buy it hear, but its always skunked.

All the local beer is amazing as well so it does feel like taking snow to Iceland sometimes...… at least nobody wants to steal it. They hate the stuff :0)
