Found a unicorn today...paid a hell of a mark up but it was the last bottle so I threw caution to the wind. Lol

They rebranded 107 and jacked up the price? I used to get it for 28 a bottle lol.

It’s now $32.99 retail and severely allocated. I haven’t seen a bottle of this on a shelf at my usual places this year!! A store got a case in and put it out today and I got the last one. I paid $44.99 so not terrible...considering I also collect watches. Lol

Sounds about right then same price ( my store is cheap) and it’s hard to get as they only get a few bottles at a time. It’s a great whisky though.

Yeah I just poured my first drink. It’s good stuff. Now all I need to do is track down a bottle of Elmer T Lee, Rock Hill Farms, Weller 12 and EHT Barrel proof and I think I’ll be good for a while. Unless I win a lottery for a BTAC bottle...

@Jking nice pick up. Weller around here, sr, 107, or the 12, is over 100 usd a bottle. It’s crazy how it shot up. As you know, hard to get too.

A pour from the newest bottle in the cabinet. Bourbon finished in port casks. It doesn’t disappoint.

Broke it out tonight and WOW! Absolutely delicious. Shockingly good.

I’m collecting age statement Scotch for my bar, 20 was kind of hard to find in a Speyside or Highland, but I found one today. Still searching as I have 16 through 22 now, but the elusive 19 yr age I haven’t found.

Can’t wait to crack it open tonight.

Late dinner after a tennis match...won in 3 sets so celebrating my sore feet with a sammich and a Newcastle Brown Ale...while watching much better tennis on TV...
