Small batch.
Often rated best for the bucks. It got my vote. Better get it while you can.
They recently lost about half of their stock when the warehouse they were stored in collapsed 馃檨

Settling in to watch the final table of the World Series of Poker. First time trying one of Gretzky's offerings. Been drinking a lot of Islay malts recently so wanted to change it up a bit. Some sweetness to it, actually pretty good.

So I know you asked for "great", which this isnt, but costco's Kirkland brand 7-year aged bourbon fits your flavor profile, is very tasty, and at $22/L you can mix it without guilt.

Tastes like Woodford to me.
This just in .. Distiller.com - Jim Beam makes Kirkland. They seem to be pretty current on who makes what .. just downloaded the app. All the bands produced by MGP are listed when one does a query. They list the distillery for any whiskey.

Either but I prefer Bourbon, that one was Knob Creek.

That's certainly a good one, but if you look up the recipe in any bar book a true Manhattan calls for Rye whiskey.
All that comes from a couple of decades of owning and operating a couple of upscale taverns in Ohio 馃槈

My go to for a Rye Manhattan is George Dickel Rye. Yes it鈥檚 MGP juice based, but bang for the buck is great. I also like a barrel strength or spicy bourbon as well.

"7 Deadly Zins" Zinfandel from 2015...

Not sure where we got this from since we typically don't buy wines made in the US, but it's okay...

Not bad if you are stuck in Lodi, again...
