Would this be a good first buy? Seamaster

I'm looking to make my first buy and someone here recommended this watch. Seller gave me permission to post this here. This watch will be the first watch I'd ever buy and I intend to use it on my wedding day. That said, this watch will never be sold and could possibly be passed on to generations to come. The seller is asking for $900. Seller was generous enough to hold it for me to do my DD. So I have few hours to decide. What do you think about this piece? I would love to hear your comments and advice. Thank you.

Some rotor rub on a bridge in the movement, so if that hasn't already been addressed, there could be some repair costs. Other than that, I'm not seeing any major problems at first glance. I suspect that the bracelet is not original to the watch, but I could be wrong.

Short answer, yes. Providing my eyes are correct and it is 751 Chronometer. All things considered that is good priice
The bracelet is not original, it works very well, appears to be Omega
There may be a little touching up on the lugs, I would no let that bother you
I’m a great fan of these 751’

Could be Dan , I can’t tell. Either way still a good movement.

I agree, good movement. Played with the contrast a little.

I agree with above. If it appeals to you, I don't see why you can't get it.
