Dear esteemed members,

Would like to get some expert opinions on this. I am still learning...despite at a slow pace
Based on my own assessment, it's a 14902 from the early 1960s.
The dial: Original, but very poor condition
Crown: Wrong crown
Case: Slightly polished, but not too bad .
Movement: Seems correct for the reference and in fair condition.

How's my assessment? Completely OFF?

My questions are, is it worthwhile to get this watch and replace the dial and crown?
Is it all pie pan dial can be fitted into this?
Is it gonna be a costly project?

Thank you for your time.

I would pass as I wouldn't enjoy a dirty dial like this. However as usual it depends on the price, if you get it for 300 usd I would say to go for it for sure.

I'm not sure about the crown so I'll let a connie expert answer on that.

I think you pointed out the relevant points!

Could be quite difficult to find a Pie Pan dial in good condition.

Could be a rare early BOR bracelet on it

How much is the asking price?
