Hi All

hoping to get some advice. I have been looking to get my first vintage Onega. Was looking for a white face but can across the black face tv dial that got my attention. Going for $500 but keen to get thoughts of others before pulling the trigger. Unfortunately these are the only photos I can get.

Really appreciate any views of those with more experience.

Hi

To my eye and with the photos provided it looks ok to me. The best picture is of the back of the watch where the observatory looks nice and crisp. I believe the dial looks original. Some of the minute markers look slightly unevenly distributed in one of the pictures, but it’s a poor photo at a bad angle, so I’m not sure it’s an issue.
Any info regarding service history?

Take a Quarter out of your pocket. Is it bad photos of a good watch or "good" photos of a bad watch?

Flip the Quarter.

Thanks Chris and MRC. I am going to try to source some more photo's of this one but really appreciate your time in taking a look and providing an opinion. Its a daunting prospect when new to this game.

Note that it has an integrated bracelet, make sure to determine the health of the bracket before buying. You can’t put it on a leather strap, for example
