Worth replacing the dial or not ?

As newbie to Omega's I wandering if it would be worth replacing this green dial with de "Spiderweb" for one without or would that be a waist of money ? First of all I do nog buy watches with reselling in my mind, I buy what I like and wear them. I have a big collection Seiko's en now starting to get my hand on a few Omega's as long the market is really good for buying at the moment. I did pay only 300 Euro for this green one and bought it for the bracelet and the links... However the watch runs perfect and I already did some work on it to get the brushed finish back on it so it start to look better already. I have not a real problem with the dial but from some angles it looks like a horrible crystal, from other angle it looks like nothing is wrong. I see crazy prices asked for watches with a dial like this and simply don't understand why... in my world a perfect dial is a lot better... So if somebody have some thoughts on it maybe it will help me to make up my mind on it. I can easy use it as nice watch for work ... Anyhow, rest me to tell that I really like the forum seems som,e real nice people are around with a truckload of knowledge.

The Rolex spider dials seem to attract more money (all else being equal) but I don't know that it's an "up-charge" type feature.

I think it was a ploy to try and make a typical watch more special for a would-be buyer.

But if you like the watch, but not the dial, it's YOUR watch and you can do as you please with it. I don't know how easily you would come across another dial, or was you plan to send it into Omega for overhaul?

That is what I was thinking 😀 I was just surprised to see some Constellations green with a dial like tis for crazy money. Now i am working on it an have the brushed finish back I like it even more.. And to be honest, to have a watch that runs like this one for this prize is pretty cool...

Selling.... Asking prizes are always een joke or Catawiki "specialist" prizes.. I live in Holland and we have "Marktplaats" People ask 200 euro for a Seiko 5 and call it rare when they can't find one listed on that site.... Ebay is even worse... I could get a bracelet voor my watch there for 1200 dollar..... So I did the right thing and bought this one for 300 euro and now my other Constellation is perfect and original and this one has an original bracelet but wilt a Chinees clasp just for being a little longer...... (still need one more link)

Are you able to find another dial for it?

If I want yes..... It took me 30 min to find a watch to fix the branchlet on the other one 😀 Finding a broken watch is not that hard, an new or NOS dial will be a complete different ballgame.... I buy often a Seiko just for a crown or a case .... or some hands.. Omega's are alle over the web... people dislike the 1001 movement so it's not that hard to buy them for parts.... And i'm a Seiko guy... I have already 2 Constellations with a good dial that I can buy for not to much but for me it just don't add much to the watch.... I'm a collector not a seller... I know a lot of people who don't wear there watches as long they can be damages during using them... what is the fun having watches and putting them in a box ? I wear my rare old Seikos just in a cycle.. sometimes I do a month, every day an other one the Omega's are also just watches only the gold one I do not wear at work..... that looks silly
