路All from out favorite online watch shopping site and all had multiple bids. Guess the bidders either liked what they saw or thought they could improve on them by having the dials redone again...well actually that wouldn't be hard.

Not even the dial, the whole watch is the worst fake I saw for a longer time.

Hi there. First post, but think you have just saved my wallet and my embaressment. I bought this watch yesterday, from who seems to be a very nice chap on ebay for 拢450 delivered. Sat in bed eagerly awaiting the new arrival, and started persusing the forums for the first time ( rookie mistake buying first, researching later ). Anyhow, I was aware the watch had been re faced, but having popped on here and then opening this link, I was horrified to see the link take me to the watch I had just purchased . Quick message to the seller to ask him to cancel it, stating I had been on the Omega forums and there is a thread linking this watch saying its Fake, and I have an immediate response. Once again, very polite in his / her reply, and kindly refunded me my 拢450 with no quibbles, atall, very easy to deal with. And assures me the watch is genuine, and is sending me a link to Omega vintage movement database etc
Can I ask, what is screaming fake here for you to spot that is not genuine? I am genuinely interested to know.

( ps looking for a vintage 70鈥檚 Omega for rougly 拢500, is this feasable?

路Also whilst I am here, can anyone let me know how to enable permission to post on the private watch sales section? not as in to post a watch, as in to purchase one. Im eagerly looking and figure this site is safest bet for a first purchase.
