The sad thing is, either no one on the site knows better, or they don't have the heart to tell the guy. I'm actually afraid it's the former.
Not really a horrible redial, just showing how sellers position their watches in photos in order to hide defects - in this case I am sure that the seconds subdial is off-centre, and a head on photo would show this immediately. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Super-Rar...248634?hash=item2a5f678e7a:g:daYAAOSwL7VWlLwAPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Sure looks like a redial to my amateur eyes. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Const...e1af797&pid=100005&rk=1&rkt=6&sd=231810825289Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
The patination on this dial seems a little TOO even...or am I wrong? This is more of a question for my own information, as opposed to a negative comment about the dial... http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tree&goto=7181564&rid=0#msg_7181564
Not exactly a redial but same idea....misspelled at the factory, sure sure http://m.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Seamaster-Chronograph-Misprint-Error-/172063758440?nav=SEARCHPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
You think that is outrageous?! He has been asking over $14,000 for this for the longest time. If he more than cuts the price in half again I might get interested. I personally feel the case back adds very little value but I do like these fat lug Seamaster 321's.
"Garunteed working" [emoji23] says it all. I'm very sceptical of the misspelling. BUT if this was to be true how does that happen? I understand hand finished dials with misprints and misspellings but a 'SEEMASTER' machine marked case back takes a lot of effort to mess up.
I think he would need to provide a letter from Omega, stating that it was a factory mistake, for it to be considered seriously- otherwise............. He's havin' a laugh.
Fallen star? Looking at numerous Connie dials it seems occasionally the star is rotated slightly off-center. Wonder how much this affects value. http://www.ebay.com/itm/131702281678?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
On the subject of fonts, I wondered if "SWISS MADE" here is in correct position. Secondly, is there some guideline on spelling of Chronometre vs. Chronometer?
Spawn of Satan or did I miss a memo about this particularly ghastly adornment? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Omega-Vi...348417?hash=item3abb0dd281:g:1WQAAOSwFqJWk729Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
