no, he didn't sell it, but ended the listing and startet a new auction....let's see, how far it goes...

Strange listing. "Nachbau" means "replica", and he states that the movement doesn't belong in a Constellation. Why even try and sell it? Was he tinkering one day and felt, meh, someone might want this?

no idea, what he means by "Nachbau" allthough I'm German. Maybe the fact, that there's the wrong caliber in it.

And selling...there are allways dummies, or newbies, who will buy such stuff.

Like me... I started by myself with a Frankenstein Seamaster six years ago. Bought it from Ebay... met the seller in front of a house... he never answered my emails again, afterwards... 馃槣

This is funny, but also scary, a sort of Will Ferrell meets Freddy Krueger.

The hour ring has been polished, to give it a matt finish.
The bezel has been polished, to improve readability (that Genta guy surely was a nutcase, designing that crap shining ring). My watchmaker says now it is better, but the original Universal seal can still be seen when backlight.
In the same vein, hands have been updated.

The case has been polished but the back is unmolested, to show its original image.

The original movement was in bad shape,

but it has been updated with a new, upgraded and improved battery powered one:

This new improved and updated piece of haute horology:

can be yours for just EUR 650. Please keep in mind that, back in the day, this was more expensive than a Rolex or an Omega, and now it has been fully updated to state of the art quartz technology.

Don't let this opportunity pass you by:

This is unbelievable [emoji15]

Including pictures of the old movement reminds me of Bullseye "Here's what you could have won!" Lol

It has got a nice Sony battery, that must help the value!
