I recently got the chance to acquire this vintage Wittnauer chronograph from the 1940’s. I don’t know much about it, and was curious if anyone here can share their knowledge on Wittnauers of this era and in particular this example/movement. The dial is heavy damaged by radium etc. Movement looks really clean!

Appears to be a Valjoux 23 movement. No connection to Longines for this watch.
