FOR SALE
Universal Aero Compax.

Steel case is unpolished and measures 35mm without the crowns and pushers.

The watch works as it should. It was serviced a couple of years ago at Max Schweizer Swiss Watch Service. The main spring was replaced during service. I have only worn this watch a couple of times and it needs to go to someone who will actually use it.

The dial is original. I doubt you could find a better example of this model.

I haven't sold many watches but I am fairly well known worldwide.

Price is $6000 US net to me including EMS shipping worldwide.

My view is that the existing examples owned by the forum members and the matching factory ref pics are the original dial. Color plates are hit or miss. Recently I had a shot at one of the watches in the color plates but I just couldn’t go there, tempting as it was. Could OP watch be a later dial? Perhaps. For the SN and the reference the OP watch didn’t leave the factory with that dial.

Interesting. I've become more forgiving on some UG dial vs. Redial debates the more I've learned about the company and their business practices. In a case like this where there is the same dial pictured in Sala on the same ref I think either these are original dials from one of many of Universal's dial makers or someone took multiple of the same ref watches to the same redialer and then brought the watches out into the market. The former seems more realistic in my view but the latter is still possible.

** edit : it was pointed out to me that another, and probably more believable alternative is a service dial.

Honestly I clearly remember this watch for sale at CT forum some months ago, and even there more than a guy told you that dial was not original.
Then - if I remember well - you deleted the post.

You and the others who like your post clearly have a poor memory.

I posted the watch on CT and never looked at the thread again.

I certainly NEVER deleted the post!!!

Well this:
I posted the watch on CT and never looked at the thread again.

Would seem to explain this then...
I have posted this watch on a number of forums over the years without the comments above.

Ahem... none of my business but I thought there was a clear rule? Does it apply differently to different members? (Or rather in this instance members who have been quiet for a while?).

Negative concerns should be discussed privately with the seller. Beyond that a member may report a post to moderation if there are serious issues.
Negative Comments in the sales post will be deleted as sales interference. We can not police every post however, actions may be taken against the poster of comments. This has always been our policy. Sellers are encouraged to report any unwanted interference in their sales.

And yes, there have been cases where commenters have gotten into pissing matches with moderators and ended up banned. 😒

As I said,

I posted the watch on CT... AND NEVER LOOKED AT THE THREAD AGAIN!!!.

If I didn't look at the thread again... that would mean I didn't fυcking see it, wouldn't it!!!

I can assure all that I did not delete the post. If it is not still there the mods must have deleted it.

I accept it is highly probable I have made a mistake. Having said that, persons insinuating I have intentionally tried to deceive are WRONG.

I'm not arguing or losing sleep re this issue. I guess issues like this are hard to accept for people who have never made mistakes. I have made so many mistakes, this is water off a ducks back!!!!

All the holier than thou posters who have never made a mistake... keep on posting if it make you feel better.

The FS post is still on Chronotrader, nothing removed.
