With increased local armed robberies, I’m no longer wearing Rolexes

These types of robberies use spotters who let the other thieves know where an expensive watch is in a restaurant, or other public situation. It's not totally random.

This explains so much- my naive brain just couldn’t figure out the MO, I guess I’m not wired that way.
So we are all potential marks no matter where we go. Long sleeves if you want to enjoy your watch for you and not advertise, short sleeves and flex if you want to live dangerously.

Going into the city tonight for a restaurant event. Will wear something that can be replaced easily with insurance cash.

“No matter where we go” no it’s situation awareness.

Probably safe anywhere in Australia or New Zealand. 👍

Ok, this dude had it coming

That’s just a hate crime against that poor Tudor.

Interestingly, this dudette is wearing a $7500 Cartier bracelet on the opposite wrist...while there are innumerable knockoffs and replicas, an accompanying contralateral probable "Rolex-looking watch" makes the odds of authenticity greater, despite being more firmly anchored to the wrist as this particular bracelet requires a screw driver to remove.

What’s the big fear of crocs? You just flip them over and tickle their belly they fall right asleep.

An axe or a machette would also be effective removal tools!

Dudette has nice taste- bracelets against a watch just always makes me wince regardless of the logic of metallurgy and hardness of materials. A few members here I privately give shit for their copious
bracelets w/watch pics.
