£1,995 for a somewhat short, stretched 1039 bracelet with no end links. AND SELLER TEXT IS ALL IN CAPS! Oh and did he make it clear enough that it's SOLD AS SEEN AND NO REFUNDS.

Riiight. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/362372946143

Stretched? I don’t see what you’re talking about? Those holes are totally normal!! Hahahah. Kidding. Hilarious.

Hard to sell a watch for any price, never mind $700, when the only photo is of the back.

This seller has 165k listings on eBay, including 40k watches, so maybe there's no time to actually put together good listings. But recently I have been coming across some of his listings that are absolutely horrendous - descriptions that aren't even close. I have a feeling that if I had time to look through all the listings, I would probably find an incredible bargain.

Gonna guess this is what it looks like from the front:

Still not worth anywhere near $700

That watch has been on eBay for as long as I can remember. I guess some folks never get the message about pricing. ::facepalm1::

That watch is truly awful. Interesting note about pieces like this that are on Ebay for years. I happened the other day to go through my late dad's email for the first time in 3 or 4 years. He passed away 6 years ago as of next Monday. In his email I found an email from Ebay for keyword searches for the place where he worked. This email was sent 4 or 5 years ago, and when I happened to click on the link, the item is still for sale ::facepalm1::

I have been occasionally tempted to post items from our own sales corner on here as there are routinely 4 or 5 on every page which fit the bill but realise that a spell on the naughty step may follow if I did so!

Tell me about it. There is a certain Speedmaster currently being offered that is post the numbered vintage '70s models with a very beat up bezel, polished case, non-original bracelet, and no service history that is at least $1K over market.

Very RARE find. Early OMEGA Constellation. Possibly transitional model from their copyright problem with Lockheed Martin. Self winding and keeps good time. Great condition for its age, never opened by me. Appears to be Gold top and stainless back. Marked on back CONSTELLATION and WATERPROOF has gold disk as expected. Please ask questions and make offers.
NO RETURNS.

It’s definitely a one of a kind piece of stuff
