Probably one of the hardest sells on eBay - £1,500 for an 80s gold quartz Omega http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Omega-Sea...664476?hash=item210f2f149c:g:XesAAOSwT5tWI2-OPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network I feel somwhat sorry for him...
How about this? Condition GOOD http://chronocentric.com/forums/chronotrader/index.cgi?page=1;md=read;id=51465
Was just about to post that one. 2500€ would be strong even if the seller hadn't been using it as a doorstop for the past 50 years.
1966 Constellation for £2,300!Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Ah hahahaaaaa..!!!!
I'm going to go ahead and call this optimistic, considering it is listed as being "100% original" and it has a modern replacement bezel and hands: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Omega-...954088?hash=item3ac3ac5468:g:BIQAAOSw8vZXOMDsPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
It's too bad he didn't mention general market trends and conditions or the sentimental value attached to this watch
That "100% original" is a bit ambiguous. It is 100% original Omega but not 100% original to the watch. In 2 or 3 years time we might look back and think that was a bargain. If it had a mint DON bezel and original hands how far off the mark would it be?
I like that line in the auction when the seller says in bold, "It will be along time to see a nice 1968 Omega Speedmaster professional Pre-moon in this excellent condition." All I have to do is look down at my wrist to see 100% original. If no DON bezel/hands/516/1039 is worth that, then mine has to be worth $13k. (speaking of unrealistic price expectations...) I could trade mine for a silver snoopy straight up?
Or you could try this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Speed...968077?hash=item464cc93f4d:g:NBAAAOSwubRXF~tlPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Says DON bezel but the dot has been moved! Does that make it a Non DON DON bezel? Tropical dial and a bargain at 9,000 Euros.
There is more than a few unrealistic price expectations for Speedmasters on Ebay. Another tropical dial '69 for 10K USD. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Vinta...686128?hash=item25b6530d30:g:klcAAOSwezVWuRgoPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Nope, you can ask large money for a bag of scrap. So keep this in mind gentlemen, always ask for your parts back after a heavy service, once you have a bag full you can sell them.
Ugh... just ugh. Let us all say a prayer for this poor "pristine" 145.012-67: http://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-SPEED...968220?hash=item36024f099c:g:oBoAAOSwzJ5XUeG3Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
