The expensive parts are the artisinal rusty springbars. Those are weathered slowly to perfection in the scorching African sun.

Plus the custom job on that crystal. That didn't just happen overnight.

Looks like some one took a grinder to the crown side lugs. Maybe that was to check the thickness of the gold plate.

Walked into a vintage watch boutique in the Burlington Arcade. Saw this Constellation Deluxe in the window. Just wanted to have a look. Alligator strap, so no gold. Original 18K buckle though, according to the seller. cal 561. One spot on the dial. £7000!
