I do not think the season finale will be as action packed as the rest of the season. In fact this season has not been as political at the previous ones, so I think the finale will mainly consist of dialogue.

I was pretty pissed off at this last episode. It was very predictable. In fact i think more people should have died over the wall. Being saved at the last possible second is just too cliche, and I thought GoT was above that. And I think the ice dragon will breath ice.

I don't think they have written themselves into a wall, but I do believe they are setting themselves up for a lot of loose ends at the end of the series... reminds me the last 2 seasons of LOST.

For those who read the books.... how do you think Manse Rayder will come back into play (show watchers; he is still alive in the books...).

Also now that there are only two dragons, who will be the one to ride one, Jon or Tyrion?

I think the coming of the Night King was intended to feel like a sideshow until the last season because that's what a majority of the Westerns would have thought of it anyway. Next season will be mainly focused on that war.

Prediction for season finale: Arya will wear Littlefingers face and to try to kill Cersei leading to many favorite characters getting killed but Jon escaping on a dragon.

That would sure be awesome.

Did you notice Cersei's servant from a few episodes ago? She could be an ideal face donor.

As much as I want Arya to be the one to kill her I think it will be Jayme who finally does it. But I think he will kill himself simultaneously.

She's been around for a while. I think she may be part of Cersi's downfall, but not as a face for Arya.

Jon will ride Rhaegal - he's named after his Dad, after all.

I'm not sure we will see Manse again... although I can't recall if the show did the baby swap plot (where Gillys child is swapped withe Manse's heir)

Given the importantce of interwoven prophecies to GRRM's narrative, I think you might be right.

Which leaves Tormund & Brienne to raise their giant babies. You know it's going to happen. There was sparks I'm telling you. Sparks. 😎

That would make me feel really good. All Brienne wanted was respect from her suitors. She never got it.

But, where does Brienne's story go after what happened to her in the books?

You know what I'm hyped for? The Hound is bringing the wight back to King's Landing to show Cercei that the undead is a real threat (even though she doesn't give a damn), and you know who's also there? His zombie brother, The Mountain.

Prepare yourselves for #CleganeBowl2017!

The hound has the best lines. He can't die.

You're right. Honestly even with all the action from this past week's episode, my favorite part was the dialogue between him and Tormund. Extremely funny and well-written.

Don't forget the part with him accusing Gendry of whinging. It seems like this season had plenty of jokes to lighten the mood of the dreary cold.

Did Gendry survive?

You mean Christian Bale and Michael Fassbender's love-child? Yes, he's still alive. He's the most athletic man in all of Westeros after years of rowing and cardio training. 😁

i dont think id go that far ha. im still pissed at how much time and effort i put into that POS only to watch the final episode and.....they're dead. worst show ever.

but the writing sure has gotten sloppy on GOT this year and, to a lesser extent, last year as well. the plot is definitely being rushed to cram everything in and the writing suffers because of it. it is still great but not the series it was in seasons 1-5. my hope is that they actually wait until 2019 to release the final season, concentrate on the writing and make each episode 90 minutes. they owe the story as much.

Do not watch GOT (not a swords and sandals type of guy) but on the Lost finale, what made it even more aggravating was that when people had theorized earlier in the run that they were all dead, good old JJ refuted these theories, only to go there in the end...

Apparently writing a decent finale is not easy based on pretty much every one I've ever seen (the exception being MASH but that was a long time ago). The recent Orphan Black finale was also pretty disappointing, given the quality of the show...but no where near as bad as Lost.
