If enamel it most likely is a cold enamel, not very expensive and you can make them in volume. However, if the surprise is a true fired enamel, that's another story.

fired enamel would be so hot

For the last couple of weeks we've been hearing of the big reveal on March 5th, special invitations sent out, OBs saying the white dial will be unveiled at that point, everybody juiced up......and now, all of sudden, people are 'hearing' that that won't happen. Irrational exuberance, again.

Im just learning that you shouldnt trust OBs

It would be cool, and different. The Sapphire is US$8,000, a fired dial would probably add $5,000 to $6,000, so we can do the math. Pricey, but something different, and less than the Apollo 8.

It would actually make me interested, and right now I'm not particularly interested...

Seems like a strange business proposition to sell it at that price point.

Some of us entered at a much higher price point for a light dial. Omega knows what they are doing and the recent uptick in brand interest since the last market bull run proves that.

Such a beautiful watch. I drool over it. Just can’t stomach the price.

It’s the Canopus 310.63.42.50.02.001 I changed the hands so I could read the time as white gold hands on the dial made it invisible.

Beat me to it 😀

Hehe 😁
I did not realize you swapped the hands though, at a quick glance I thought it was just the stock hands playing with light (like the indexes)

When I first saw it online I thought the hands were black. During the purchase in the boutique I was focused on the ‘am I mad’ sensation and really didn’t notice. When I got it home I brought it to my AD and had the hands changed.

That’s a bold move Cotton
