Will there be another OF Holidazzle GTG for '23?

I know it's way early but I am asking because The Wife & moi are thinking hard about making the cross country trek to attend... and as such "time off" and "work scheduling" need attended to.

Any plans, thoughts?

I think it’s still early days but I get that if west coasters want to attend the mid-Atlantic end of year GTG, travel planning and work/family accommodations need to be on the radar sooner rather than later.

The way we settled on general location was based on a region central to the bulk of the attendees and ease of access. Baltimore was an easy pick as it was central to most of us (and home to a few) and the specific location was picked for easy access off interstate and security of the site. Plus it was a nice place and the food was excellent- and I was not going to meet up with 18 people in an Applebees parking lot with a box of donuts….again.

If we get interest in more out of town attendees (make it a couples event and bring the spouse- we has 3 spouses there last year and would love to see more) then we would need to consider easy access to airport, lodging, etc.

-fest last time so you would need to bring something fresh this time to start a new craze.

My wife just informed me that if she is contributing her craftwork to the swag bags again, then she will need to get started now.

Based on the success of last year’s G2G, I had already assumed that it was a done deal for this year. I think that the only question was the date. A number of people couldn’t make the December date last year because of holiday related work and family commitments. Made this year we do it in early November before the holiday craziness gets rolling?

But I've sworn off buying watches! I mean all I've purchased recently was a quartz (gasp!) Nivada for my 10-year-od son. Am I going to have to start subscribing to all the resurrected brands' email lists now? Maybe Rodania will be brought back...

Yeah- we just saw your potential swag 🙄 perhaps you can do something crafty with them! Like cufflinks, earrings, charm bracelets….

I think I have a better idea. Cuff links is a really cool idea though maybe I’ll make myself a pair one day. Don’t have enough movements or time to make that many.

Yep. Seemed to work last year and this year we could announce the event earlier to allow folks more time to plan their schedules.
