·And wearers wear...😉
Firmly in the BIFL wearer category. I don't think anything short of extreme financial emergency could convince me to sell any of mine.
Please consider donating to help offset our high running costs.
And wearers wear...😉
Re nostalgia I do agree that I will have to sell my action man / GI Joe etc collections before all the buyers peg it…..
Yeah I perfectly understand your problem, and I would be glad to buy your doll 😁
A doll….Ken is most offended…back then toys were real toys, men were real men, women were real women, and small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri were real small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri. How it has changed ….I decided to let my 5 year old Nephew spend an hour playing scuba diver with this 'aqua lung' rather than try explaining what a flamethrower was……..
..... Did the price jumps happen because of Speedmaster 101, Omega Forums..Hodinkee...
I can't help calling it that, because my wife is always pissed when I buy a new figure....
And I just got a Code 3 Gene Cernan for a very good price that I should receive soon... She will kill me 😁

Long story short, it's the same with that, the prices are increasing when it's "old" because there are more and more people collecting vintage stuff. There are also Tv shows which don't help in keeping the prices low because they make people think everything that is vintage is a treasure...
I think a lot of Hobby Master and Dragon models will hold value...….Same for Code 3 I am sure....especially If you keep them in the box..... but as you have shown not much fun in that....watches are for wearing and all that. I like your display base. Need a watch box like that...
I think it’s important to remember that most vintage watches are worth nothing. And even those that fall into the category of worth “something,” the great majority of those are not worth servicing. Very few few vintage watches are worth collecting at all.
The vintage watch industry has made great gains in the last few years selling watches that were not previously collectible.
