Here's the link. Did I miss something? I can't see anything wrong with the dial or anything else but the final price was absurdly low. The seller's mistake about the date shouldn't have made any difference. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Omega-co...=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Hmmm....something weird is definitely going on as this is the second time he's sold it, and now he's listed it again.
I’ve tended to stay away when photos are cropped like that and the seller doesn’t seem well established.
A. I didn't know it was going to end so low. B. I don't need to buy any more watches, I need to sell some!
That's a redial. Biggest tell is the 'T' on what is a 14 million watch. Probably actually a 2852. The seller also states that it is a 2846 which is a Seamaster ref. Plus UK only auction and a vague receipt for what work exactly? All in all a bit of a messy listing for a redialed mislabeled Constellation won't add up to a top price
I don't know the seller's motives for ending and relisting, but as @cristos71 says, it's definitely a redial.
The funny thing is that the seller appeared to pay £35 for a valuation that dated the watch as 1912! People sometimes complain here when they get slightly impatient answers to their questions, but the advice here is (a) free and (b) expert.
