Hi Forum Friends!

I found this interesting thread regarding Certina watches, and I wonder if there are some interesting links or threads.
The specific watch that I am trying to learn more about is the lovely diver, PH200M ref 5801-117.
But also other vintage Certina divers.
Looking forward to some nice reading!
Anybody...??

😀

Here's a rather rare example of a Certina Argonaut chrono serving as the vintage pattern for the DS Chronograph Automatic 1968 Re-Edition. Despite it's almost unworn look, this original Certina Argonaut Chronograph 200m is actually from 1968.

Kind regards,
F.Antl

New arrival all the way from Australia. And it's a rare one! 😎 Dark red fumé dial is so juicy in person. I'm going to have the watch serviced and the hands relumed.

I've never done this "aesthetic operation", and wondering what it would look like (how much would that cost btw ?) I guess not the average watchmaker can do it nah ?

About the worst picture I could take. It looks a whole lot better in person, honestly.

Anyone aware of Certina DS driver watch? I found a few but can gather no information on the internet and none listed on eBay. These are listed in a quite cheap lot on a private auction site that includes a couple of regular dials and a Seiko sport(?). Thanks!

Here's a vintage diver:
I know what the diver looks like. Notice the dial shift on a couple of those I posted. They are not lined up 12 to 6. That shift is called a driver’s watch and I haven’t seen a Certina with one, hence my inquiry.

These are not driver watches, they are in a bad state/broken. These are small quartz watches 30-35mm from i guess the early ninety-ish. Here's how the top two, should look (top is a ladies watch).

FINALLY found an original bracelet for my DS-2 😎 Purchased from a fellow Certina lover, thank you @Frenchdude87 😀 Reference 6300, in my opinion the best looking DS-2 bracelet. It gives the watch a nice sporty presence.

Got my red fumé DS-2 back from service: relumed hands turned out great! Dial has some damage, but I still like it. Perfect summer watch. Plus bought a NSA bracelet to add to the collection 😀

Did a post on these last week...😁
And I totally forgot this thread.
But here we go!
It is a pair of Certina Blue Ribbons from ca 1977.
Volvo ordered these to give to all the employees to celebrate the 50th anniversary!
