hey everyone,
keeping an eye on the market for that DS 2 that would normally be my next purchase, i was narrowing my focus recently on the bracelet. I'd really like that DS 2 I buy to be on an original Certina bracelet (thought it's not mandatory)

The thing is on all the photos i've seen I seem to have seen several different bracelet on thoses DS 2.

The one I see the most the "genuine" one ?

This one that I this looks fantastic ! Original ?
Is there a name for that particular style of bracelet ?

This one I also saw on a DS 2 (with Certina logo of course)

*****************************

Is there "One" that's original ? Are they all ?

Do you know by any chance the reference number of theses ?

Thaks !

I think all of those are original. The first one is produced by NSA, I am pretty sure that the others are unbranded.

Is the third one on a ladies DS-2?

Hi Folks. I think this active discussion about Certina here is awesome!
i try to contribute. unfortunately i am not a DS-2 specialist. But if I take a look at the catalogs of this period, I see three different bracelets.

1968 - 1970

1971 - 1972

From 1972

For the references:
1 gen. 6300
2 gen. 6025
and after that as mentioned NSA without a ref.

Is that right? And I'm sure there are more!

How amazed was I when my 240€ bid was litteraly wiped out but by two bidder who reached the price of....500€ (w/out shippping and bidding fees)
While I have no idea what a sensible price would be, my first thought is €500 for a DS-2? That's completely crazy.
They tend to go for well below this price here (Switzerland), even nicer ones.
Luckily, they're far too large for my small wrist, so at least here I'm not tempted.

Actually, if I wanted to get one of those massive watches, something like this beauty is what I'd go for.
Or if it really had to be a DS-2, the red dial one.

Another question is rising from my ds 2 search 👎

I'd like to know what you think about it (and evaluate @ConElPueblo 's knowledge about certina 😁)

i see some (most) models with straight "baton" arrows, but also some with little pointy tips. whay do you guyz know about it ? Haven't founds any legit info about it...

Merci 😀

There were at least six different types of hands used on the DS line over the years, your best bet is to look through old adverts...

Hi all,

Have occasionally been looking for a ladies size DS or DS2 (pain in the ass since Certina often used movements without seconds hands in their smaller watches) and have come across this one for $400. Thoughts on case condition?

It has certainly seen some polish - the main gripe is the price. $400 is a piss-take.

Yeah, the price is definitely out of line. I'm considering offering $150-$200 if the listing renews (currently a BIN that I'm watching).
