First I misread that as "my re dialed ds2" and thought there's no way that's a redial :D DS-2s with red fumé dials look absolutely fantastic.

Purchased a new bracelet. I think DS with Forstner BoR looks quite nice.

I think the DS with a BOR is a great allround vintage/sporty combo.

Just saw this Patent Pending sell on the bay. As pointed out by Troels earlier in the post it’s an unusual red gold plated variant. 5604 003 with a nice early reference from 1959. Unfortunately the case back was pretty scratched up.

Yeah, you need to move fast on the rarities. While the caseback is scratched, you can actually read both serial and reference number AND the "PAT PEND." which is extremely uncommon.

Note btw that it is a red gold (plated) case - this is really typical of Spain, where there is a much higher percentage of red/pink gold cases compared to yellow gold.

I pity the buyer having to find a red gold crown :(

Ha! Maybe, it is a damn fine look, but has your strap got one of these?

Don't know if it's age appropriate but it's a nice touch.

    Beautiful watch. Simple, wonderful.

I have always wondered, are these blue hands we see perfectly original? For a 1960-1970s watch it seems (to my uneducated mind) strange to think that this was fashionable among the populace. I don't know why. It just seems so... odd.

I say this knowing the incredible bursts of colour we see on the argonauts and such.

I aspire to purchase one myself.
