if I remember right…

heavy duty suspension and cooling. Special wheels. Heavy duty alternator, some additional wiring. Interior could be speced a few ways but the detective version I think is a standard interior.

So in other words:

It's got a cop motor, a 281 cubic inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks.

And it’s 106 miles to Chicago.

also I see what you did there!

Getting older and liking a little more luxury than sport in my mobile office nowadays.

Stock photo, but decided to get some parking lot dings and dents taken care of while on vacation and don’t need the car.

I drive the "worst car in the history of the world" according to Jeremy Clarkson and Top Gear. And I love it!

Since the answer is always Miata: 2002 SE 6speed (happy to see a few on here). And 2020 Lincoln Corsair for daily duties.

…….and never believe anything a dealer says

Well when he said 221kW and 400Nm I thought it'd make a pretty good pensioner mobile.

This is my daily... stock photo from the website but configured as I ordered it. '23 Macan GTS -- first Porsche for me, lots of fun to drive!

This was the day I picked it up from having paint correction, PPF and ceramic applied.

I drive a MK7.5 GTi which has been a great car for me but not one I love.

Over the last 5 years i've been working on my E30 but moving house has seen that be put up for sale as well.

Currently tossing up between a new Defender 110 or a Macan for a more suitable family car

For summer fun I replaced this
with something less obnoxious...

Woo ... that would have been a tough decision to replace that Firebird!

Well at least my wife will ride in this one. When I say it was obnoxious, I mean on the highway it would change lanes if I hit the gas. It also helps that my 60's waistline fits the McLaren better

The fact that the Missus wouldn’t ride in it seems to me a perfectly good reason to have kept it! ::stirthepot::😜

Well.... yes but that still leaves the belly against the wheel. That car had low miles and from what I could gather most were gained either 1/8 or 1/4 mile of Woodward Ave at a time prior to the previous owner "restoring" it. I like DRIVING not holding on and stepping on the gas these days!
edit: I can hear the radio in the new one too!!!

Went to the dark side, did you finally get tired of BMW’s somewhat frustrating N54/N55 twin-turbo sixes?

I never had one of those. I did have a 328i 4-banger hard-top convertible and a whole slew of 4-cylinder Saabs before they went belly up (thank you GM).

Only 6-cylinder I ever had was a very rare 1992 Acura Legend Coupe with a 5-speed manual.
