I'm immune to Speedmasters, and this only reinforces my immunity. I see it and I'm reminded of this 馃ぎ

I felt the same way about the white PO 8500 until I got one. I really grows on you, especially with colorful straps.

At this price point I can come with a couple of dozens of watches that don't have to grow on me

If you think the white side is plastic looking, then the Dark side and grey side are both plastic looking also. You might as well throw in the new snoopy too, cartoon character and possibly ceramic (plastic looking) dial and bezel.

If "it's a mater of taste" on this one, then you have awful taste.

I'm sorry but this is a just a ugly watch, IMO - and that's putting it mildly
I do not understand why someone would spend thousands $ on this. If you wanted a summer watch in white or vibrant colors then get a Swatch watch or Casio G-shock to scratch that itch.
I completely get that what looks "good" is in the eye of the beholder and totally dependent on one's taste....but yikes!

taste is a personal matter, but I can tell you, I tried it again, and it's really growing on me. I'm sure will get one by year end... As zI travel a lot, I'll look for good deals in airports (Thailand, Dubai, HK,...)

Well summed-up. I'd only add that it's surprising that anyone/someone at Omega approved this as a design and then for production.

My prior teasing aside, I think that's great. The movement is fantastic and they are incredibly comfortable well made watches. My PB is not terribly common nor the most popular either. However, I love it and wear the hell out of it. So, if this one speaks to you: pull the trigger and do the same!

If this is deesigned for the Aian market, then perhaps I'm wrong, but isn't white associated with death and funerals in Chinese ciluture?

As a westerner, I', on the side that is voting "No", the Grey ceramic and black ceramic lok stunning.

White, just looks kinda cheap.

A different what might lift it from being a Guess or Michael Kors look-alike, but it still looks like a fail IMHO

if I want a fum summer watch in white, then I'd go Swatch or G-Shock.

You'd want to be having a lot of fun for a $12k fun watch.

I like it. There, I've said it.

There are absolutely no chance of me ever buying it, but I still like the... flair and sense of fun about it. It's the closest Omega has come to make a Richard Mille* in that sense, and I guess that most of the posters here will have similar feelings toward one of those as to this.

In a different life where I am a wealthy man living in warmer climates I could see myself wearing this with an extremely casual summer outfit on the beach. I'd take copious amounts of pics and post in WRUW too, featuring sandy beaches, palm trees and colourful drinks. I'd even have a tan, taking the unrealistic fantasy to a completely new level 馃榿

*substitute with Hublot at your own discretion.

I don't know... I'm on the fence with this one. If only the case wasn't white or strap of a different color. Kinda reminds me of the polar Rolex Explorer otherwise.

What they need to do is put the white dial in the gray case with the black bezel.

Yup. Absolute atrocities-- both the golfer and the watch.

Happily, I know nothing about golf - or Mr Ping. I also know little of Richard Mille - just enough to know that I don't like the products and I'm astounded by how much they are apparently able to charge for them. Although I recognise that I'm very traditionalist, I see horology as an area of technology in which innovation is highly appropriate. However, aesthetics are always important and this sort of watch just looks unattractive to my eye.
