Not my cup of tea but, I'd also like to see what it looks like with different color straps just for the hell of it.
Yeah I'm with you. Not to my taste but a different strap might make a difference

I think white is bold. I agree it's a matter of taste but I saw few guys with latest white Hublot big bang and they are cool as well.
Definitely a matter of taste. I think white Hublot big bangs look atrocious. And this white moon watch no go for me.

I guess we could look on the bright side (pun intended). WSOTM is better looking than its Hublot counterpart. That's the closest thing to lemonade I can come up with...

Now it's a matter of price. If one day I find a good deal I'll jump on it. But 12K for a fun piece seems high
You've just echoed my thoughts...
I love it as a fun summer watch... But at the price point, it's hard to justify...

Prefer the grey, dark or even a panda dial instead. for a white dial can always consider Mauri, Italian albino and Alaska speedy.

The shiny white strap is the weakest link, I don't mind the white case/dial etc.

This is probably the only speedy I've ever seen that I've had absolutely zero desire to own.

There's been few I've felt like that about - this is probably the worst.

I felt the same way about the white PO 8500 until I got one. It really grows on you, especially with colorful straps.

I really like orange for being a seventies-evocative colour . . . but it's going to take me till the 2070s (at least) to feel happy about that look!

It is a matter of taste and I'm sure there is market for it, especially in some sporty scenarios. That said, my brain also tends to associate the color with plastic somehow.

I have tried very hard, but can't see it as anything other than plastic!

Precisely what I like about it. It has a very early Space Shuttle - era NASA thing going on IMO and might look cool on a black nylon NATO or Velcro strap.

Interesting take. Perhaps Omega should have made it in plastic, with an appropriately low retail price? (Guess I've just disqualified myself from ever applying for a marketing position in Bienne!)
