This—the only watch I started 2019 with and haven’t traded away...

This guy. Except the 2 months it was out for service I wore it frequently. Incredibly comfortable and easy to wear!

I did a lot of work projects around the house, and so this was likely the one worn most often.

For most of the year, travel meant this was often preferred.

Then I got this beauty finished and it’s spent much of the last few months on my wrist.

>95% of my 2019 wrist time.
It's a watch I've despised from nearly the moment I bought it, but have kept faithfully since 2004.

In honesty, I liked the dial. And the fact that it was an automatic. And I spent enough money on it at the time that I felt quite good of myself. But it's been hideous ever since. Like a proverbial albatross on the wrist. It still runs just "fine" (meaning: slow some days, fast on others. It senses when I'm disliking it and adjusts its movement accordingly). It's likely the first and only of it's model I'll ever own.

lol! It’s like a Pug- so ugly that it’s cute...although judging from the size of the date window...I don’t know if “cute” would be appropriate as it looks to be about the size of an alarm clock

I'm mildly amused that my stepdad's Omega - which cost much less when new (and is (at least on paper) worth considerably less today) is a vastly finer timepiece, and, warts and all, one I feel much better about carrying around with me. The first, but probably not the last of its sort I'll keep.
