Hi. I have two Wittnauer divers. The dials have slight variations and I haven’t been able to pinpoint if these variations are original or a result of a redial. Is there a sure way to tell which, if any, is a redial? The biggest difference between the two is the metal frame around the date window. One has the blue inside the frame while the other doesn’t. I searched on Google images for previous listings of this watch, and I’ve seen both variations presented. Secondly, the hour hand comes closer to the blue part of the dial than the other dial. I’d also like to point out that one of the dials is chipped at 1 o’clock and between 7-9. The blue on this one is also much darker and has a glossier sheen. I’d appreciate to hear your thoughts. Thanks

I wouldn't be concerned about either of them, it's common to find minor variations on mid-range vintage watches. It's interesting that the lume dots are on the rehaut, which needs to be better aligned with the painted markers on the first watch.

Both look good to me. The only thing that looks off at all are the lume markers on the first one as @Dan S pointed out.
