The solid black ceramic bezel of the 116500LN was unique and looked sporty. The new 126500LN bezel makes it look like a glorified Tudor chronograph. So I'd go with the Soyuz meteorite Speedy.

Both great watches. I'd go with the Daytona in this case.

I wouldn't kick either out of bed as they are both beautiful, but I much prefer the Soyuz. The Daytona is too busy, especially with the white rings around the subdials. And the meteorite subdials are bad ass.

Same here. The Daytona just has zero appeal to me aesthetically…

The Daytona does nothing for me. That being said, this isn’t one of my favorite Speedmasters either.

I'm not a fan of either. But, I'd chose the Speedy if forced to decide.

Daytona hands down because of the specs, brand recognition, value over time, and this is just the beginning of Rolex because in the not so far future, they'll implement their new Dynapulse escapment throughout their models which is far better than the Omega Co-Axial one, so it's up to you now to decide and if you don't believe what I tell you, we'll, you can google: Dynapulse 7135 caliber

If you're buying for specs, you're buying a Zenith Chronomaster for 1/10th second.

The rest, lot of silly talk really.

Before you judge my statement, try to get acknowledged about the new Rolex caliber it ALREDADY beats at 5Hz so this is NOT silly talks

Congrats on knowing about the new movement that is in literally one model of Rolex, and it isn't the Daytona.

Anyway, no need to continue this little conversation

That’s a nice looking speedy. I’d have to go with that. Daytonas are nice, but I don’t like the screw down pushers. If the watch has a function I’m discouraged from using, then get me a PM Daytona on an Oysyerflex. Might as well be made out of gold if it’s just for looks.

The dynapulse escapement is interesting but at the end of the day it just beats faster. Nice, but not a game changer to me. I don’t see the same hype for other high beat watches. But if the crown does it now’s it’s amazing? Regardless, the Daytona featured here doesn’t have that movement, so it’s not really relevant.

I’m not a chronograph person generally—just think they’re always very cluttered looking and it’s not a complication I have a use for. That said, between these two, I’d go Omega: it’s actually pretty tasteful for a chronograph, whereas the Daytona always strikes me as a jumbly mess. Just so much unnecessary crap and writing on the dial.

People were excited about the 3200 series too, but that excitement didn't last long. Hopefully they do better this time around...

As tor the Dynapulse, my guess is that it won’t replace all other watches. I AM sure that it will be very expensive. Rolex will also be sure that the Dynaplus can only be serviced from Rolex.
