Which Color Doxa?

I’ve pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I will never get a call for the GMT master II, so I have been just enjoying finding other pieces that speak to me and that I will feel comfortable wearing.

Anyway, I just got done watching a few Teddy YouTube’s and am in a bit of a playful mood, so I thought I’d order a new Doxa 200. I want to get something I can wear on my boat whilst surfing so it will surely get dinged up, and for less than a grand, seems like a bargain with some bold colors and completely different from my Omega, Longines, Nomos, and Tudor.

Can’t decide between the orange and aquamarine. My boat is a sea foam green and white, but, although I like the aquamarine a lot, I wonder if it comes across as a little effeminate. I know I shouldn’t care, and I’ve got a pretty muscular frame that could more easily “pull it off”, but it’s something I think about. That’s in no way bashing femininity at all, it’s just not my personal style…

What do you think? Would you guys do orange or the aquamarine?

I like the blue, but would choose a different colour strap

Take a look at the white version, you can any colour strap you want or stick with the white.
However if you must have the orange or blue, be a grisly and go orange.

I'd go blue out if your proposed colours... Look at recent @Darlinboy on the
WRUW Today? Thread.

I personally prefer the yellow one 😀

Orange: definitely, unequivocally, unmistakably, no ifs, ands or doubt about it. 👍

I'd go the Orange just simply as it is easier to get great readability ( comparing your 2 pictures) though personally I love that blue, hell why not just buy both colors I am sure either your wife or your own dress styles will find an appropriate use for both.

I would also choose aquamarine of those two, probably swap the strap for a black one for a nice contrast as it's a bit much with the matching one.

I'm probably going to buy one of these shortly - need to replace my everyday watch - and have finally decided on an orange one, but.....i'm going to tone it down a bit with a black rubber strap from Bartons.

Definitely want the orange face for diving, but not sure on the strap - seems a bit 'Swatchy' for me.

I've had all but the Caribbean. Love the Pro and the Divingstar, but my favourite is one the Searambler. Hard to go wrong, Doxa do colour very, very well.

What color Doxa? You can have it in any color as long as it's black 😉

I have only owned one, but it was my preference. Their silver dials look nice, and there is no lack of character lol

But if not that ...then orange, because it's is Doxa!
