·I’ve pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I will never get a call for the GMT master II, so I have been just enjoying finding other pieces that speak to me and that I will feel comfortable wearing.
Anyway, I just got done watching a few Teddy YouTube’s and am in a bit of a playful mood, so I thought I’d order a new Doxa 200. I want to get something I can wear on my boat whilst surfing so it will surely get dinged up, and for less than a grand, seems like a bargain with some bold colors and completely different from my Omega, Longines, Nomos, and Tudor.
Can’t decide between the orange and aquamarine. My boat is a sea foam green and white, but, although I like the aquamarine a lot, I wonder if it comes across as a little effeminate. I know I shouldn’t care, and I’ve got a pretty muscular frame that could more easily “pull it off”, but it’s something I think about. That’s in no way bashing femininity at all, it’s just not my personal style…
What do you think? Would you guys do orange or the aquamarine?
