Where to get work done on an Omega Equinoxe?

I recently found an Equinoxe in a drawer that belonged to my grandfather, apparently he got it years ago as a present from work and it “wasn’t his style” so put it in a drawer and never wore it.

I put a new battery into it and nothing on both sides. Every watchmaker around me in Miami will not touch anything that’s vintage quartz Omega, especially an Equinoxe lol.

I know this is like asking how long is a piece of string, as the amount of problems it could have could be endless. But I would greatly appreciate any ideas on how to get it back up and running. It even looks like the LED screen has bled as it is completely black instead of being greyish.

Is it a lost cause? No obvious sign of a battery leak or battery contact corrosion etc
