I have to agree with Acadia, have yet to find a more serene place, but won't stop looking

The major cities of Italy are great to visit. But to unwind and enjoy life, I'll take Positano and the Amalfi Coast. A truly wonderful place.

I like the Pennines about as well as any place I've seen.
Not my photo. I have a similar one, but is in an album from our pre-digital photography days.

The Baths in the British Virgin Islands. The diving in the BVI's is beyond belief.

I have been to the Sea of Cortez in Baja California, Mexico many times and became convinced there is a Higher Power.

Far side of the moon while vacationing back in 2069.

Well, OK, I've never actually been there, but I'd like to go!

Austria has a special place in my heart. Spent a few years studying in Ober Oestereich and traveled the country extensively. The Wachau region is worth a visit just by itself, the rolling hills and the vineries are breathtaking.

Where in Central America is this?
Not Central America, it's Cuba.
Maybe not the most beautiful place in the world but certainly one of the more interesting.

My own favorite place...

My daughter and her friend nicknamed it Mt. Photoshop. Most of the world calls it Mt. Rainier. (Not my photo.)

I'm the polar opposite of most in that this doesn't look like a stunning landscape but I absolutely loved Singapore for the manicured sidewalks and lighting in the trees along Orchard Rd and most of all for the lack of graffiti, litter and vandalism. We have a lot of it here and I can't stand it when I see people ruining their own public transport and environment but seeing an old man actually bend down to pick up a plastic wrapper that had blown out of a rubbish bin rather than let it keep floating down the path really impressed me.

I like lakes so here is Lago De Garda in Italy (two different towns Limone and Malcecine) and a small town in Lake Constance (Germany).
