I'd say...When the music you listened to as a teenager starts getting played on Classic Hits stations, the watches from your youth can begin to be considered neo vintage.
So when Adele or Katy Perry or Bruno Mars are considered Classic Hits, your 2011 OP should be close.

·Roughly, at least 25 years ago. The "gold" vintage watches in my opinion are in the 50's and early 60"s.
