I guess I knew I had a problem when I kept telling my wife I wouldn't buy more watches than I had slots in the box.. And then bought another box to stay true to my word 😁

There are much worse vices though!

I have bought some watches when under the influence, decision-making seems so much easier !
So I have stopped drinking BUT the watch illness is still there and the decisions are much harder but probably way more sensible !
The beat goes on.

My only problem is I don't have enough watches. Seriously though for now I'm going to concentrate on those I have before getting anything new for awhile.
I intend to start visiting pawn shops and asking around about any local old time watch repairmen who might still take on work. I don't have the patience or deep enough pockets to send something off several states away and wait for months to get it back, with the strong possibility of it being damaged again in shipment before I get it back.

Well it was something like one new watch every year, then it became one every other month ::facepalm1::

When I asked my fiancée to come take a photo with me on the weekend. She was all excited, until I asked her to slide up her sleeve..

When did you realize that you have a serious watch problem?

When I decided to keep track of my inventory in a spreadsheet. And it's only getting worse every time I sit down and update it... ::facepalm1::

When I realised buying many quartz watches do not equal one decent vintage mechanical.

And then when I realised many decent mechanical watches do not equal one good or excellent vintage mechanical.

Finally, when I realised my watches have slowly crept up from two figure prices, to three, and now four...

Well, it would a problem if a hot chick walked by with a great rack and you were more concerned if she had a watch on her wrist.

It's a problem for many of us

At least the watches don't take up the space all the guitars did.

have fun

Been doing this for about for about 4 months now, never owned a watch. Have about 20 watches. Ranges from $12 to $4,000. Nothing as grand as what I see on this forum. But keeps me out of jail at least.

And the pedal boards/rig/amplifiers (Tube ones)/Guitar cases etc.

I keep my Fender strat + tweed hardcase + pedal board at work now. Guild D4 + hardcase at home but thats all I can afford, space wise at least.

When people ask me "Is that another new watch?" and I started lying through my teeth...
