It’s not a problem. Yet.

When I spotted some fake rolexes on the wrist of some colleagues.

Since that day I never trusted those guys anymore...

Probably after I bought the first watch case/storage box... Got my first Omega a little over a year ago. It's a redial, but I enjoy it all the same. I needed something to store it in. So naturally I bought a box that holds 6 watches instead of just one. 5 empty places to fill with more Omegas 😀

I knew when I clicked order on that watch box that this was only the beginning.

I’m staying firmly in the denial stage. It’s quite warm and comfortable, why engage in any messy self-reflection? 😕

Warning! This only works for so long.

Either step up to it now, or let it catch you unawares further up the trail.

This was the beginning.

Feb 12, 2012 I bought this watch for 80% off retail.

I bought a 3572.50 on May 16, 2012.

Then May 23, 2012 I joined this message board.

At one point I was buying a watch every 2 weeks.

In 2018 I have only purchased three watches (two speedmasters and one f300)

Well, it would a problem if a hot chick walked by with a great rack and you were more concerned if she had a watch on her wrist.
I remember scrolling a wayz down the front page of Reddit, seeing some interweb exhibitionist publishing nude photos of herself and thinking .... is that a "Hulk"?

(Cue the puns)

Last month's service bill was £1300. Reading through the thread I find myself wondering where the hell I put that Day-Date dial. I can't remember who wanted to buy the Oris. There's someone wanting to sell me a mint Everest, and I can't be bothered to call them back. I've found the parts for the Valjoux 92 on eBay: they're in Australia. I went through my boxes of bits in a hurry three weeks ago. Didn't have the correct balance staff for the Cyma. Was in such a hurry, I didn't put them back in alphabetical order. Now I needs a Smiths crown. I have 6. They're in one of those, identical, little plastic, yellow topped boxes. One of them. There's 170 to choose from.

Watch problem?

Naw.

I suppose it depends on what constitutes a “serious watch”.

Probably when you have a fleeting thought of trading one of your children for a great timepiece.

When I was younger I spent most of my time thinking any the opposite sex. Now I spend more time thinking about watches

Some might call that 'trading up' 😉

Well, since you’d have to pay me to take it I’d say 110% off retail. 😜

I like big watches and I cannot lie...

The Arnold Swartzeger watches are 110% off retail. I hear the case backs on those are awesome.

When I have this much “junk” from just 1 brand, and those are the only ads that I have framed. Probably have around a hundred vintage watch ads ::facepalm1::

Taken from, "My baby got 42mm case"?

I like 'em round, and big... (and blue)

I just can't help myself...
