Went to an AD once to try on some Speedmasters and the wife took a stroll around looking at watches. She doesn’t know much about watches but she found the one she really liked. She wasn’t aware of what the price was until we got home.

My wife’s dream watch was at first a Cartier Tank but then she saw a pink dialled Rolex Datejust 31mm and after a couple of months she bought that. She was perfectly happy with that for a couple of years but then she saw a photo of Sharon Stone wearing a Sub and began wearing my Sub on occasion. And then she found out that there was a green version of the Sub 🙄 She has the 116610LV now and hasn’t really talked about other watches since, so I think she has gotten her dream watch.

This is why you say that the bracelet is too difficult to resize- jeez! 😉

So many awesome submissions - Love the taste. Just got this one on a client's wrist. She's wanted green two tone with a ladies touch for years.

I left her alone in OB for five mins... suddenly she loves watches. Promised her she can have it for her 40th in 2021.

If your significant other wants a vintage ladies Omega, the Omega Enthusiast has a contest to give two away

My wife has no interest in watches, and she would likely say this...

She has recently had me searching options to upgrade her 1.29 ct engagement ring to a 2 ct. I found an option for her that meets her D color SI1 and excellent cut criteria, but she’s now having second thoughts at the price.

You wanted the SO’s dream with pic, this is the closest I can find online:

I prefer a big diamond ring to a watch with a lot of little diamonds all over...

One that works!

She likes quartz watches best, but quartz watches don't seem to like her. Her beloved late 1990s Longines laid down on her. Have been trying to sort it out all this year to no avail. Recently got her a new Seiko quartz to tide her over. The silly thing is already balky too!

So, she's stuck with various mechanical watches which were my notions of a dream watch for her.

Gotta get the Longines going. She's sentimentally attached to it.

She keeps asking me the time so does that make me her dream watch? Nah, no way, stop dreaming. Happy Christmas everyone!

I really don’t know. In the last 20 years I can count the number of times she has even worn a watch on both my hands.

My wife has been wearing the same watch, a Cartier, for the last 30+ years (before she met me). So, she already has her dream watch, says she is not interested in any other.

My wife likes armitrons. They are horrible. I think the battery lasts maybe a half year. I have a Maurice lecroix quartz I forgot about for a couple years when I found it battery still going. She will buy a Nice seiko as a gift but she just isn’t into watches and jewelry. At least she tolerates my habit and it seems to appease her as long as I sell something once in a while to stabilize costs. I just can’t let her know how many watches I put up for sale that I’ve refused decent offers on. Right now she wants me to pick up some omegas as one of her family members saw some of my collection and couldn’t stop talking about how nice omegas are. I’m looking at a few now she probably wants me to give them one of mine but I think she wants to avoid that fight almost as much as I do. Ah the married life.

Fortunately my wife prefers mens watches so we get to share. Her favorite is the 1601 wide boy

My fantasy watch is the extra large most complicated watch ever made by Vacheron, owned by King Farouk of Egypt , probably the most beautiful watch ever made . I still treasure the 1994 Antiquorum catalogue when this watch came for sale.
but realistically...my dream watch is the Vacheron Chronometre Royal ref.4907 in white gold

You want to follow her desire and get her the diamond you have described. There's nothing better in color than a GIA rated D. SI1 would be a plus and at least 2 carats. Yeah, there's a price bump at 1 and 2 carats, but I think it's worth it to be able to say "It's over 2 carats". As the old DeBeers ad said, "Only %2 of the women in the world will ever own a 2 carat or larger diamond". Call me a shill but there's truth to that.

Fancy is nice but not as the center stone. I got my wife a canary fancy as a center stone and it really fell flat, especially on yellow gold.
