Tallest
ยทI have both 2531 and 1861. 2531 mostly 2500/2800 and a Speed at lightly above 4500 (euros).
But it may vary a lot. If you can, keep the Speed and buy the Diver. If you can't or just want a change, buy a nice exemplary of 2531. Middle ones without box and papers and busted bezels will be harder to sell back if you want to change again.
And other (rarely choose ๐ ) option is to buy a 2541.80. Same watch but quartz. Prices are low and if it's ables you to keep the Speed, to my mind it's win/win. It can be found for less than 2000. Sometimes far less. It's Goldeneye and joy to wear. No worries about settings and all. You grab, you wear ๐
Are the 2531 counterfeit a lot, polished a lot, etc? Is it a hard watch to find in good condition, in other words? I see some for sale with 2007 dates, and aged looking lume, while also 1999 models with normal lume, just discolored hands (red to pink), etc. I gotta say the aged lume looks wonderful to me on Blue, but I am not sure if Im looking at relumed watches made look like vintage and trying to get higher price.
2541 quartz, is that the one Prince William wears by any chance (Diana gift)? Or his was the "reduced" 37mm version?
