Last Fall he indicated he was taking break for a bit. Probably didn't help that a bit later his agency was caught up in the furloughs, and are still digging out.

I always find this sad.

Hopefully everyone you mentioned is safe and well and just taking a break from watches but The sad truth is many respectable members have passed away over the years and we often don’t get any confirmation, they just stop posting.

Following 🙄 hopefully they’re well and just taking a break. I’ve been known to go through seasons of being on all the time and taking months off (birth of children, switching jobs, buying a new house, etc.).

@oddboy and @JwRosenthal were always great to message with. Both saved and cost me money (good advice on watches)… and @AndyK sold me my first real Speedmaster many years ago!

Aside from having his name and address (but no phone number) and doing some research on the internet I've been unable go any further.
Still waiting for a Linlithgow or surrounds member to do a door knock.

Glad you’re well! We do miss your always interesting posts, though. Nothing new for 2026…yet. But how long can we go without at least a little fix? Can a new strap scratch the itch?
