Looking back I had a decent 2025 for watches, so here in chronological order are my best of the year.

Started the year with both this Constellation 2852 and Tissot 6220 from the local watch fair in January

The absolute best find of the year was this beautiful black hobnail Constellation 2782

Scored another 33.3 chrono, this a ref 2393 with a simple dial and nice blued hands.

Then came this lovely black gloss Constellation 168.010, which was actually the first watch I've ever bought via Chrono 24. Later than where my focus lies....but I just couldn't resist the silver gilt dial.

Another 2852, this one with pie-pan dial and quite a heavy patina.

I couldn't help myself when I came across this Constellation Megaquartz, again at a watch fair. The pictures really don't do it justice, when some light catches the dial it is incredibly sparkly. A super accurate movement from when Omega were really pushing the boundaries of what was possible.

And last but not least in late December a 2486 jumbo Cosmic TDMP....also with a lot of patina, but still charming enough on the wrist!

“Decent” year is quite the understatement! 😂
Beautiful watches as usual!

Thanks @MtV for this thread. Always great to see what fellow members have added to their collections.

My top two additions are a 2852 pie pan and a ST1. Both were on my wishlist for quite some time, so I‘ m pleased that I managed to pick up both at very fair prices (surprisingly from pro dealers).

Other additions were opportunistic buys that I couldn’t resist:

No-lume Longines Conquest with a black dial.

Oversized black gilt dial Eterna chronograph in a sharp Spillmann case and powered by a Vlajoux 22.

And a rough diamond, a tuxedo salmon dial Breitling chronograph. The crystal is heavily scratched and the chrono function has some issues, which hopefully my watchmaker can fix.

2025 was a good year - I was fortunate to pick up a few really nice watches from the Private Sales section here, including three pictured below (top row): an exceptional condition 145.006 Seamaster chronograph and two Flightmasters - one of which, a 145.013, came with its original box, papers and 1970 sales receipt. Delighted with the full set and personally, I prefer the dimensions of the 145.013 compared to the larger 145.026 and 145.036.

Another notable acquisition was a close to mint condition Seamaster 2531.80 and of course my first Breitling - a new old stock Navitimer 0816 which I wrote about here:

This thread, together with @Davidt thread about plans for 2026 are very appreciated!
They make you think about what has happened and where you are heading…😉

2025 was a very fun year regarding watches (and also other non-watch related things)!

And here are the watches, in no special order…

A Heuer 73653N that Abel Court brought back from the dead (well almost..)!

A Seiko Sea Horse 7625-8030

An Omega Speedmaster 145.022-78, the quiz watch!

An Omega Seamaster 600, ref 135.011, and a possible birthyear watch 1966 (YAY)!

An Omega Seamaster 300, ref 165024, and it is waiting in London for a pick-up (fresh from the Spa)!

An Omega Speedmaster 145.022-69, this one is my favorite purchase for 2025!

And another Omega Speedmaster 145.022-69 (why not one more…🙄)

Lets hope that this year will be an equally exciting watch hunt!
And of course - wishing a great year to you all.

Continued my vintage Seiko love with two watches from 1970, a 6105-8000 “Slim Willard” and a King Seiko 5625-7040 with amazing Taro Tanaka grammar of design language.

Also picked up a meters first 5513, something that’s been on my mind for quite some time.

Maybe I’m crazy (I probably am) but I keep coming back to these vintage Seikos. Something very special about what they were doing in the 60s and 70s.
