Beach side for me is only the cheapies, nothing but the 3 eyed Devil Casio GShock, or my Wenger Patagonian.

I am facing a similar dilemma, and unfortunately, I am not that wealthy (yet) to be able to afford wearing an Omega at the beach. Any recommendations on where to purchase a good Seiko. It's a bit hard to trust Amazon or Ebay if you know what I mean.

No issues with Seikos on Amazon.

I still have plenty of micro-brand divers to match most anything I wear to the beach:

A few of these have since gone, and others aren't beach-goers, but I think this pic helps one dig the drift...

I. e., this was the 'pre-vintage' period...

Thank you. I read some feedback from folks on amazon, and some are not very happy with them, but I suppose there are always those ones that hate one something...

The last time I went to Mexico and camped on the beach for a week I wore a beat-to-crap Invicta 8926 that I picked up for $10. The Miyota movement is surprisingly accurate. That watch has so many scratches on the crystal, etc. that it literally fulfills the name "beater". I haven't worn it in years now though. If I were to go to the beach right now I would probably wear my Hamilton Khaki Navy Diver on Perlon.
