Yep, I was expecting something far nicer than a Tag Quartz.
Gotcha now I don’t enough about this to speak intelligently on the subject but one time I was cutting chopping wood with an automatic and I knocked the movement loose. Now I usually do so wearing my quartz tag. Do you think the quartz movement is better held in place for an impact sport? I know Richard milles are used in everything but I have not damaged the quartz tag swinging an ax with it. Not that I chop loads of wood but it only took one session to knock out the movement on the auto I forgot to take off.
The Hodinkee article about watch spotting at the Olympics says it's a Tag Heuer F1. Quite a few interesting watches being worn by Coaches at the Olympics.
