what is the opinion of this universal?

I would propose that people post, at a minimum:

1) Reference # in text plus one front photo and one rear photo (showing the case reference and serial), meaning either inside or outside case back. The rear pic would help prevent typos in the reference number, or people misreading the reference number.

2) additional (optional) info could include case size in mm without crown, caliber, and model name (which most don't have).

If this is agreeable, one last issue I see is moderating the thread to control two issues:

A) discussions around redials and other originality issues in any examples posted

B) inevitable side track conversations that people start by not treating it as a three hander reference thread

I'm not sure how to control for that, other than I guess just asking everyone to be conscientious ?

If that makes sense, I guess we can just get started and stop hijacking this poor thread 😁
