What is the average time for official service?

Dear all,

I sent my 1995 Speedmaster Professional 3590.50 to the boutique for service in late January 2025. As it is an old watch, I specifically asked them not to polish the watch.

I noticed from the Omega CIS that the estimated date of completion for the repair is late November 2025. Is that normal? Thanks in advance.

Depends where you are located, but that isn’t unheard of. Wait time for service at HQ is about a year afaik.

I just sent a watch in that had to go back to HQ, and got quoted December, so that is about right. The Seattle place is ~1 month though, as my Railmaster has been back a few times.

In early 2023 my 3523.80 was gone for 3 months. My 1987 Connie went to Switzerland, that took 6 months. My new white 3861 was gone for 3 months in summer 2024.

It’s clearly country dependant. In the UK I’ve had 2 watches turned around by Southampton in 1-2 months last year. It may have got worse but that’s not bad at all IMO.

Yeah. Depends on which repair facility it goes to. Seattle is about a month it seems. Vintage stuff gets shipped back to Switzerland though, which takes 10-12 months.
