·I believe the continued concern that people show about ceramic cases is way overblown. Unless you give it one hellacious knock against a metal surface in just the wrong way, which is extremely unlikely, these cases will last a lifetime. I just don't think it is an issue for the end user. But worriers gotta' worry.
The Apollo 8 has been essentially unavailable for over a year, the base movement is no longer in production, it requires special treatment in production, it's expensive, and it was to commemorate the 50th anniversary in 2018. It's time is up. I'm surprised any OB or AD is taking orders for one now, and giving 20% discount to boot. Hope you get the watch.
